Leon Jackson Dropped By Record Label

Leon Jackson has been dropped by his record label, after releasing just one album.

Despite being crowned the winner in the fourth series of X Factor in 2007, Leon sold just 130,000 copies of his debut album 'Right Now' and today The Sun reports that Sony BMG have parted ways with the singer.

"I had a great year and learned so much recording and releasing my album." Jackson is quoted as saying. "Every artist knows these things can go either way.

"I'm really looking forward to my tour and doing more writing."
