Leon Jackson Apologises To His Fans

Leon Jackson has issued an apology to his fans, after his tour dates were cancelled earlier this week.

The previous X Factor winner should have been performing 16 gigs in May and June with Same Difference, but seven of those planned shows have been scrapped.

Leon now tells fans he is sorry for the cancellations, which are beyond his control.

"I want to make clear that I haven't personally pulled out of any gigs, and that it was my management and tour promoter's decision to cancel the many shows." Jackson writes on Bebo.

"I am very disappointed, more so for you guys' sake as I am aware that many people have already booked travel and accommodation and also were simply looking forward to it, as was I."

"All I can say is that I'm truly sorry and I am furious that this has not been officially explained to you guys. Sorry for the inconvenience, I'm gonna have to keep my head up and get on with it as usual, but I hope you can all stick by me as you have always done."

The axed tour dates are just another blow for the singer, as it emerged earlier this year that Leon Jackson had been dropped by his record label.

His former X Factor mentor Dannii Minogue has promised to help him with his career, now he is without a recording contract.
