Legendary Stax Label Announces Its Return

The influential Stax label is set to return, 30 years after it ended.
The label's name has been bought by Concord Records who plan to restart the company that previously released records by such names as Otis Redding and Isaac Hayes.
New signings are expected, including Angie Stone and the aforementioned Isaac Hayes, who says: "Stax always has been and always will be soul music. I was a part of that. I am coming back Stax because there is still so much to do. It's like coming home."
