La Roux 'Surprised By Tinchy Stryder Praise'

La Roux singer Elly Jackson has blasted the attention Tinchy Stryder gets.
The rapper has enjoyed two number one singles and a number two album this year, which has brought with it much praise - but Elly says he doesn't deserve it.
"George Michael wrote 'Careless Whisper' when he was 17," she told The Guardian. "I didn't see Tinchy Stryder writing a song like that when he was 17, but he still gets the same praise."
"It's the media, everything is 'amazing, brilliant'," she added. Elly also claimed that DJs on the radio are "not allowed to slag anything off".
And her dislike for other pop stars doesn't end there - she's no fan of chart-topper Lady Gaga.
"I can't possibly like everything - how ridiculous is that?" she continued. "They're like, 'Really, Lady Gaga's not your thing?' Have you listened to my album? Of course it's not my thing!"
