Kylie Minogue To Co-Host BRIT Awards Next Month

Kylie Minogue has been confirmed as a host for the BRIT Awards nex month, where she'll join comedians James Corden and Mathew Horne of Gavin and Stacey.

The Aussie singer will co-host the annual ceremony, that takes place in London at Earls Court on February 18.

Ged Doherty - Chairman of The Brits Committee - says in a statement: "With performances from U2 and Pet Shop Boys already confirmed, the addition of Girls Aloud, Duffy and Kings Of Leon to the bill means we are heading towards a truly special Brits this year."

"Added to Kylie, Mathew and James hosting, it's going to be a must-see event. With the nominations launch taking place tomorrow night, the countdown to the 2009 Brits is now truly under way."

Nominations have yet to be revealed, but will be announced tomorrow (January 20th). One award however, for Outstanding Contribution To Music, will be going to the Pet Shop Boys. The band are rumoured to be performing with The Killers on the awards night.
