KRS-One's 'Steady Bounce' To Appear On Chrysler SUV Adverts

Chrysler have chosen the KRS-One song 'Steady Bounce' as the background music for their new Jeep Compass SUV advertisements.

The song is taken from the rapper's 2001 album, 'Strictly for the Breakdancers & Emceez', and will be used on four different 30-second television commercials starting next Monday.

Chrysler are creating a hip hop theme for their multi-million dollar marketing campaign, in order to target 22-30-year-old city residents. The company has said that the choice of music will separate the Compass from their other brands like the Cherokee and Wrangler.

There will also be a Jeep Compass music tour for unsigned hip hop artists starting next month, as well as fashion magazine and internet adverts based on hip hop culture.
