Kimberley Walsh 'Hates Camping'

Kimberley Walsh has admitted that climbing Mount Kilimanjaro has put her off camping.

The Girls Aloud singer, who was at this weekends V Festival, climbed the African mountain in March for charity, and confessed that she was happy to only be at the festival for the day, rather than have to set up camp and sleep in a tent.

"It's nice, we can just chill out in the sun. We're just here for the day," she told Absolute Radio. "After the whole Kilimanjaro thing, camping is a no-no in my mind. There was just no way I could do it."

And the singer, who is currently taking time off from her hit girl band, was being coy about any solo projects she may be venturing into.

"We've got a Coldplay show in September, which is going to be good. We'll all get back together to be on stage, and then we're all working on individual projects at the moment, but I can't actually give any details," she added.

"But there are some exciting things, so hopefully I'll have something to tell you before the end of the year."
