Kid Rock Inspired By Amy Winehouse On His Next Album

Kid Rock says he has been inspired by Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' for his next studio album, expected in 2009.
"Her album is so great, it's made me go through all my old Stax and Motown records again. I'd really like to add a little of that flavour to my music," says Rock.
When asked about his change in direction, which has seen a shift from rap-rock to pop, Rock adds: "Hip-hop's turned into bad pop music."
"People don't believe in half of the current rappers and especially don't believe in what they have to say."
"No-one's really a killer or a gangster - that's why I'm singing more."
