Keith Richards Cleared Of Smoking Fine

Keith Richards will not be fined after recent claims that he'd been smoking during a live performance on Friday 25th August.

The Rolling Stones guitarist broke Scotland's smoking ban law by lighting up during the band's set at Hampden Park, which caused numerous reports to Glasgow City Council.

Richards could have been on the receiving end of a £50 fine. However, environmental officers have cleared him from the charges declaring the stadium does "not fall under the enclosed public place criteria specified by the ban."
