Katy Perry Vows To Not Jeopardize Her Career

Katy Perry has her head firmly screwed on when it comes to making a lasting career for herself.
The singer has promised to stay grounded when it comes to her music, after the worldwide success of hit single I Kissed A Girl and accompanying album One Of The Boys.
"I've looked at Hollywood and seen the demise of people's careers," Perry tells Planet Sound. "I've taken notes so that, when I step up to the plate, I know what I will and will not do to succeed."
Katy also said she is relieved she didn't achieve such a level of fame at a younger age: "I'm happy it's happened now. If I was younger, I might have broken. I doubt I'd have been able to take it."
