Kanye West Removes Auto-Tune Off Jay-Z Album

Kanye West has an anti Auto-Tune stance of the tracks he's producing for the new Jay-Z album.

Despite West heavily using the tool on his latest record '808s & Heartbreak', Hova's forthcoming 'Blueprint 3' won't feature the vocal manipulation software.

"Jay is in control of everything in his domain," Kanye tells MTV News. "He's just been working on it, and it's gonna be amazing when he drops it."

"We actually removed all the songs with Auto-Tune off of his album," the rapper revealed, "to make the point that this is an anti-Auto-Tune album, even though I released an album that has all Auto-Tune!"

About Jay not wanting to use the software, West laughed, "It doesn't matter to me, it's music; it's just sonics. I like Auto-Tune so I do it."

Jay-Z recently parted ways with his label Def Jam Records. 'Blueprint 3' will be the first release as part of the $150 million Live Nation deal he signed last year.
