Kanye West Pleads Not Guilty To Paparazzi Charges

Kanye West has pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges, relating to an incident involving the paparazzi last year.

West and his road manager Dan Crawley were arrested on September 11, 2008 after allegedly smashing the camera of a photographer in LAX Airport and shouting abuse at him.

The '808s & Heartbreak' star was charged with vandalism, battery and grand theft in March of this year, with Crawley charged with two counts of vandalism, battery and grand theft.

Although West did not attend the court case himself on Friday (May 15), his lawyer pleaded not guilty to the charges. The case will resume on July 15.

If found guilty, the rapper could face two-years in prison.
