Kanye West Forced To Fund His Own Tour DVD

Kanye West was left to fund a DVD documentary himself, when a retailer pulled out of a deal.
The upcoming DVD project focuses on the rapper's Glow In The Dark tour and production costs were to be covered by US store Best Buy, but the deal fell flat thanks to the recession.
In an interview with Complex magazine, West says how economic downturn has effected him: "I try to avoid it overly affecting me. But some s*** has happened, like Best Buy was supposed to [fund] the tour DVD and they pulled out of it."
"I definitely got hit with that, because not shooting it was not an option, so I had to pay for it."
