Kaiser Chiefs Respond To Noel Gallagher's Comments

Kaiser Chiefs have responded to Noel Gallagher, after he compared the band to the Monkees.
Drummer Nick Hodgson has now shrugged off the insults, insisting the Oasis songwriter is just trying to gain publicity in the run-up to his band's forthcoming new album 'Dig Out Your Soul'.
"We're definitely not offended but I do actually like it, I think it's a bit of sport," Hodgson told BBC Newsbeat.
"It is funny though, because it does happen [Noel insulting bands] every single time they put out an album. And the last two albums it's been us."
"When I was 17 and Noel was going on about Blur I was watching it, and now I'm 30 and he's 50 and he's talking about us, it's brilliant."
Oasis release 'Dig Out Your Soul' on October 6th
