Kaiser Chiefs recently revealed plans to release a "joke" record that was spontaneously recorded.
Front man Ricky Wilson confessed the LP was inspired by Will Ferrell's character in "Anchorman".
He said: "One night we were left in the studio with just our sound engineer. We had this idea to record an album for 45 minutes off the top of our heads."
"We just made it up as we went along. We called it 'Bad' because it's so awful. We took our inspiration from Will Ferrell's character in 'Anchorman' who just says what he sees."
"I haven't listened to it since we recorded it. I'd like to, but I know I'd cringe because it's really bad and unfunny." Wilson added.
