Julian Casablancas 'To Put On Pink Floyd-Style Gigs'

Julian Casablancas is planning a special stage performance when he makes his live debut as a solo artist in the UK next month.

Having just released his first album Phrazes Of The Young, without The Strokes, the frontman will be playing four low-key shows (tickets are on sale here).

Talking to Pitchfork, Julian tells fans of what they can expect from the shows: "It could be a Stonehenge disaster but I'm going for it," he said. "There are going to be changing sets. It's like half-normal and half-Pink Floyd laser light show.

"It's not going to be interactive; I'm not going to start juggling. And if it's a disaster I will say, 'Kidding around!' and then we'll just do normal shows."
