Julian Casablancas Releasing Christmas Single

Julian Casablancas will be releasing a Christmas single next month just in time for the big day, he has revealed.
The Strokes singer released his debut solo album Phrazes For The Young this week, and has recorded a cover of 'I Wish It Was Christmas Today' for his holiday-themed single.
"It was a fun thing to do." Julian told NME. "Everyone seems to do a Christmas song at some point, so I always said to myself I'd do that song. I now checked that off the list of things to do!"
The one-track single will be available as a download and a limited edition 7", from December 21.
Casablancas is also reaching the UK next month for his first solo shows - tickets are on sale here.
