Joss Stone "I Don't Listen To My Own Music"

Joss Stone has confessed to not liking her older songs, especially as she sounds so young on her past CDs.

"I don't really listen to my own music that often, unless while I'm making it." The singer admits. "And then once it's out I don't listen to it."

"I really liked [debut] 'Introducing Joss Stone', I really enjoyed that because it was, y'know, my little baby."

"I don't really like listening to 'The Soul Sessions' because my voice was so young and wasn't confident at all." She told ContactMusic. "For me to listen to it it's not fun. And I think 'Mind, Body & Soul' was like, okayish, I was figuring things out, but it was like, meh."

Stone, who also dabbles in acting when she's not in the recording studio, also added that she only intends to make music while she still enjoys it.

"Everything I do I just do it because it's fun and if I stop enjoying it I stop doing it. You've just got to enjoy each day. And God, when you make things serious it's your fault, you're doing it."

Joss Stone releases her new album 'Colour Me Free' this week.
