Jordin Sparks Had Emergency Surgery

Jordin Sparks is well and recovering, after the 'Battlefield' singer underwent emergency surgery this week.

Sparks was rushed to hospital on Wednesday, when she was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. But the hit maker is doing fine now - she's even back on Twitter posting away.

She wrote: "Was struck w/ acute appendicitis... took out that appendix last night. Recovering today & the next week or so."

"Still sore, my whole body hurts. Everytime I move. Phew. But mama is on her way w/ real food and Law&Order is on!"

Jordin then thanked fans for their support, adding: "Feeling a little better but very sore. Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers. It means so much & it's so powerful. :)"
