Jordin Sparks 'Excited By New Season Of American Idol'

Jordin Sparks is looking forward to American Idol, when the contest returns with a new judge.
As was revealed recently, long-term judge Paula Abdul has stepped down this season and will be replaced by TV host Ellen DeGeneres behind the panel.
"I kind of didn't get it." Sparks recalls upon hearing about Paula's stand-in. "I was very confused for a second. But the more I thought about it, I thought, 'Well, she's definitely very opinionated and has a good point of view,'"
"She'll give Simon a piece of her mind." Sparks added to People. "I'm excited – I think the vibe will be different, but really cool."
Jordin has recently been on the roads of North American supporting Britney Spears on her 'Circus' tour, which is coming to an end soon.
