Johnny Borrell To Be Murdered In New Movie

Johnny Borrell, frontman with Razorlight, is to be murdered in a forthcoming movie by Irvine Welsh.

The 'Transpotting' writer's new film is named 'The Meat Trade' and is based upon the story of the Westport Murders.

Borrell will play the victim of two grave robbers played by Robert Carlyle and Colin Firth. In the story, Carlyle and Firth will be transported from the 19th century into present day Edinburgh.

Borrell spoke his involvement to the Daily Star: "It's going to be so much fun. I love horror and I'm a really big fan of Irvine Welsh's work. I loved Trainspotting."
