JLS 'Deny Huge Spending Habits'

JLS member Aston Merrygold has rubbished reports that the group's spending is spiralling out of control.

It was claimed earlier this week that the boyband's management had called an urgent meeting to tell the lads to control the amount they are spending on luxury items and expensive nights out.

But Aston insists that the stories of spending £6000 in clubs is nonsense, claiming that the group were receiving free drinks, and that he wasn't even consuming alcohol.

"We go to these clubs and they appreciate that we're there because it obviously makes their club worthwhile to go to. So they give us complimentary drinks," he explains to Metro.

"In the same story, they put that we spent over £6,000 on alcohol but I drove home in my new car. It doesn't really make sense that I'm going to spend six grand on an orange juice and a coke."

But is that your new £40,000 car that you're talking about Aston...?

JLS release their second single 'Everybody in Love' on 2nd November, followed by their debut album on 9th November. Tickets are on sale for their 2010 tour too, but are selling fast.
