Jessica Simpson 'Melrose Place Is Crap'

Jessica Simpson has described 'Melrose Place' as "crap" - after her sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was fired from the CW series.

The singer-actress, who is married to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, was exited from the show last month and her final episode will air in January 2010. But Jessica is not happy that her baby sis was written out, so she's blasted the series.

Jess wrote on Twitter: "CW catching up on MP. Who writes this crap? I have had bad scripts to work with, but this? Thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."

This week a show insider claimed Ashlee was fired because she "can't act".
