Jay-Z To Endorse Ace Of Spade Champagne

After a well-publicised beef with Champagne makers Louis Roederer Cristal and subsequently boycotting the brand, rapper Jay-Z has now signed a deal to endorse rival brand Ace Of Spade, which is made by Armand De Brignac.

The drink already makes an appearance in the video for Show Me What You Got and it also gets a mention in the single itself. Although the deal has been officially announced, Armand de Brignac president/CEO Brett Berish has said about Jay-Z's involvement:

"Jay-Z has always demonstrated the highest standards and finest taste, and we're honored to see Armand make an appearance in Show Me What You Got. Armand's unmatched taste and package are a perfect fit for the video."

This new high profile image for the champagne has also brought with it some unwanted attention, as recently 100 cases of the drink were stolen in Florida.

This isn't the first time Jay-Z has loaned his name to marketing a product, as recent deals saw him advertise the relaunch of Cherry Coke, as well as a new colour for the SUV.
