Jay-Z Denies Banning Chris Brown From BET Awards

Jay-Z has denied he banned Chris Brown from attending the BET Awards last month.
When the 'Kiss Kiss' singer didn't appear at the ceremony, rumors began flying around that Jay had threatened event organizers with an ultimatum - ban him, or he and wife Beyonce would not perform.
When asked if there is any truth in the matter, Jay-Z told BBC hip-hop DJ Westwood: "That's the silliest rumor I ever heard."
"You know me, right? I was sitting back and watching all them suckas. You don't comment on rumors. I was sitting back watching them. 'Look at them. That's so silly.'"
"First, let me categorically deny that. If I have a problem with Chris Brown, I got a problem with Chris Brown. I don't agree with what he did and that's that."
Westwood also asked Jay-Z what he thought about Chris Brown's video apology he issued this week, where he says sorry for beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year.
The rapper replied: "We're all flawed human beings. All a person can do is apologize. That's it, what can we say? You know everyone should be allowed to make mistakes. It happens."
Speaking of Rihanna, the singer guest stars on his new single 'Run This Town', from the forthcoming 'The Blueprint 3' album, along with Kanye West.
