Jay-Z Crowned Highest Earning Hip-Hop Star

Jay-Z has been crowned as the Biggest earning hip-hop artist of the last year.
Retaining his position at the top of the annual Forbes magazine pole, the publication revealed Hova earned $35 million in the past 12 months.
It's the rapper's vast empire which has kept him at the top, as Jay dabbles in his Roc Nation label and Rocawear fashion line, amongst numerous other business ventures.
Others in the top 10 include Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Eminem, who made his comeback in May with the album 'Relapse'.
The top 10 earning hip-hop artists of 2009 are:
1. Jay-Z - $35 million
2. Sean 'Diddy' Combs - $30 million
3. Kanye West - $25 million
4. 50 Cent and Akon - $20 million
6. Lil Wayne - $18 million
7. Timbaland - $17 million
8. Pharrell Williams - $16 million
9. T-Pain - $15 million
10. Eminem - $14 million
