Jack White 'Hopes To Form 20 More Bands'

As one of the hardest workers in the music industry, Jack White is already a member of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and his latest project, The Dead Weather. Yet the guitarist has revealed he wants to form up to 20 more bands.

In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, White explained that his groups fall together by accident, and he hopes more of his bands will form in this way.

"The Dead Weather was going to be a project for one among a handful of seven-inches but it blossomed into something bigger." Jack says of his latest collective.

"I feel so great that it happened that way, that we never planned it. But we never planned The Raconteurs either - I went over to Brendan Benson's house one afternoon and all of a sudden we were recording an album."

"These are the kind of chance encounters I hope will happen 20 more times before I die."

The Dead Weather release their debut album 'Horehound' on July 13. Check out this official music video for the LP's final song, Will There Be Enough Water?.
