Isaac Hayes Died From A Stroke

Isaac Hayes died from a stroke according to police officials.
When the soul and funk legend passed away at weekend on Sunday August 10, 2008, it was not clear how the 'Shaft' singer had died.
However, police spokesman Steve Shular has now revealed that a post-mortem was not performed, but paperwork filed by his physician (Dr David Kraus) states a stroke as the cause.
Kraus also told investigators that he had been recently been treating Hayes for high blood pressure.
Isaac was discovered by family members collapsed on the floor of his home, besides a treadmill that was still running. He was 65 on the date of his death.
