Interpol Star Releasing Solo Album

Interpol vocalist Paul Banks has recorded a solo album under the alias of Julian Plenti.
The record - titled 'Julian Plenti is Skyscraper' - will be getting a August 4 release and according to Billboard, some of the songs were written as long as ten years ago.
The site quotes a source saying of 'Julian Plenti is Skyscraper' that the music found on the disc is "cocky, sexy" - and that Plenti's tracks sound similar to Interpol.
