Ian Brown's Kids 'Won't Allow Squire Reconciliation'

Ian Brown claims the reason he won't be making up with former Stone Roses guitarist John Squire anytime soon, is because of his kids.
There has been much talk of the influential band reforming for a full tour and possibly new material, especially recently as their debut self-titled album was re-released to mark its 20th anniversary.
Ian now says that Squire sent him songs to use on his next solo album, but his offspring had barred him from using them.
"It was good, sounded nice - I liked it," the frontman told Word magazine. "My sons turned round and said 'Dad, you can't work on that. He sold you out, didn't he?'"
"John's manager asked if I liked the tune, and I said: 'I did, but my sons won't let me work on it'."
