Ian Brown And Bez Set For Manchester Passion

Ian Brown and Bez are amongst those set to take part in a special event this Easter, to mark the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ.
The event billed as Manchester Passion, will be an hour long procession that takes place through the streets of Manchester City.
During the show, numerous performances will include songs and hits from such artists as The Smiths, The Buzzcocks, Robbie Williams, New Order and Joy Division.
Scenes are said to include Jesus singing Love Will Tear Us Apart (Joy Division) and Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now (The Smiths).
The event will also be screened live on BBC3 on Good Friday.
