Holly Valance Denies Pop Comeback

Holly Valance has completely dismissed recent rumours that she was releasing a new single next month.

The Aussie singer was rumoured to be releasing a track called 'Superstar' in just a number of weeks, after an imposter set-up a fake Twitter account posing as her and posted a photo of Valance as the supposed cover artwork.

Now Holly has denied that she will be releasing a record, and says it would be impossible to bring any new music out again without any promotion whatsoever.

She wrote on MySpace: "Is anyone gonna work out that picture [featured on the "single artwork"] was from an AIDS charity book called 4 Inches for Sir Elton John???"

"Why would anyone release something without promoting it and anyone hearing it first? It takes months of promotion and plugging to get radio onboard and people in the know about your music. I'm a little confused?"

"Considering the current state of the music industry it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than a sexy picture to launch a record. I would expect it to take as much blood, sweat and tears as it did the last time, if not more. But I guess people forget that part."

"Anyway I have to remember anyone bored enough to leave snide comments under pathetic tabloid articles deserves my compassion and a quick giggle."

"For those that wanna hear a new record, it will be done the right way. Like it was last time. You just might be waiting a while. Bless all your cotton socks. X"
