Hilary Duff To Star In Barely Legal TV Series

Hilary Duff has landed herself a new role as a lawyer in a forthcoming TV sitcom in conjuction with Fox.
As reported last year, the singer / actress signed a deal to star in her own show, which has now been revealed as 'Barely Legal'. The series is based on the the true story of Kathleen Holtz, who became a lawyer in California aged just 18.
In 2008, Duff said she hoped to land guest roles in hit TV shows The Office and 30 Rock. She told MTV at the time: "I would love to do something on The Office. 30 Rock is great - very funny. Many people have done lots of guest spots on it this season."
