Hilary Duff has discussed her forthcoming appearance in the 'Ghost Whisperer'.
The singer-actress explained how her role came into place, as she tells E!: "Jennifer Love Hewitt's one of my friends, and we were having dinner one night."
"She's like, 'Come be on my show. You know, we're almost finished.' I'm like, 'Give me a part. I'll do it.' And it just kind of came about really naturally and organically like that."
Hilary will star in the episode 'Stage Fright', due to air on April 10. As for her character and story line, Duff continues: "I'm kind of being haunted by someone that I was in a relationship with before they passed away."
"He had unfinished business with me, and I'm having nightmares of being turned upside down in my apartment, like when I'm sleeping on the bed, I'm actually going to be hanging from the ceiling."
2009 looks set to be a busy year for Hilary Duff in terms of acting - in addition to 'Ghost Whisperer', the 'Dignity' star has also been cast as the lead role in a new NBC law series titled 'Barely Legal'.
She will also begin filming for 'The Story of Bonnie and Clyde', in which she plays the role of Bonnie Parker.
