Hilary Duff Backs Blessings In A Backpack Programme

Hilary Duff visited a school earlier this week, to show her support for the Blessings in a Backpack programme - which aims to help kids who come from low-income families.
The singer met students at an elementary school in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Tuesday (October 21) and Duff says of her involvement: "I feel lucky enough to have a voice or a name that people might pay attention to."
"I think that people might not be aware that a couple neighbourhoods away, kids aren't having food on the weekends, and we just want people to be informed and to know what's going on in their communities and to help if they can."
