Guns N' Roses have decided to drop Brian May's contribution on their 'Chinese Democracy', which the Queen guitarist has described as a "shame".
May had performed the lead guitar on 'Catcher N' The Rye', but it looks as though he'll no longer be included.
"Well, it is a shame, perhaps... I did put quite a lot of work in, and was proud of it." Brian writes on his official site.
"But I could understand if Axl [Rose] wants to have an album which reflects the work of the members of the band as it is right now."
'Chinese Democracy' has taken Guns N' Roses fourteen years to make and rumors suggest recording costs have spiralled to $2 million.
