Girls Aloud Sign 3 Album Record Deal

Girls Aloud fans can rest easy - the five-piece have signed a new deal with Fascination Records for the release of three more albums.

Speculation that the chart-topping pop group were on the verge of splitting have been published in recent tabloid reports - fuelled by rumours that Cheryl Cole is going to launch a career in the US and also embark on a solo career.

Other members - Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh - are both keen to pursue acting careers, reports the BBC.

A report earlier this week suggested Mika was keen to work with Cheryl on her debut album.
