Geri Halliwell 'Puts Music Career On Hold'

The music industry has been blessed by Geri Halliwell's revelation that she won't return to pop anytime soon.
The ex-Spice Girl revealed that she would step back from her music career in order to allow younger singers a chance, and is instead concentrating on her new role as a children's author.
"Everybody has their moment and their time. Let somebody else have a crack at it. There are younger people around now," Halliwell told Red magazine.
"I didn't want to have to stay young in order to sell records. And I didn't want to have to rely on my looks."
But don't say goodbye to ginger spice just yet - she revealed that she "never says never".
"I don't want to say never, though. Who knows? I could do a record when I'm 60."
