Gabriella Cilmi was left red-faced at a recent gig, when she was almost arrested.
The Australian cutie - who is putting the finishing touches to her second album - was performing at the O2 Arena in London, but ended up leaving through the wrong exit.
"I didn't know the way out, so I used the back way." Recalls Cilmi. "I just needed to escape as I felt so claustrophobic. But then I realised the police were following me. I didn't realise I couldn't use that exit."
"I tried explaining I was one of the artists but they had to take my name and all my details." Gabriella added. "At least I didn't need a mugshot taken."
As for her second album (out next year), Cilmi told The Sun: "I loved being in the studio. We had parties every night."
"We didn't start recording one track until eight at night and then we didn't leave the studio until seven the next morning."
"Working all night is brilliant. It's kind of old school."
