Franz Ferdinand 'Recruit' Cribs Bassist

Franz Ferdinand are recruiting a member of The Cribs to perform with them temporarily in the U.S.
Franz bassist Bob Hardy is unable to perform at two gigs this weekend supporting Green Day, as he is attending a wedding - so the band have flown in Gary Jarman as a stand-in replacement.
The shows take place tonight (August 14) in Denver, CO and tomorrow (15), in Lake City, UT.
The Cribs revealed on their MySpace page that the short notice meant Jarman didn't have time to rehearse the songs he'll be performing. They wrote: "No practice, no soundcheck, no worries. Just winging it in front of 20,000 people. Sweet."
