Foxy Brown has shot-down stories that her time in jail was not as tough as other inmates, as she was allegedly given preferential treatment.
The rapper spent eight months behind bars at the Rose Singer Center for women, at Rikers Island in New York (between September 2007 and April 2008), because she broke her probation.
In an interview with the New York Daily Post, Brown addresses the special treatment rumors, saying: "It was incarceration, not vacation. I only wore the designer clothing I was allowed to have."
"There were certain gang colors my sneakers couldn't be... I didn't have any special visitation rights."
