Fightstar Had To Fund Their New Album

Fightstar frontman Charlie Simpson admits that the band had to fund their latest album themselves.
The singer, who left Busted to be a rock star, revealed that his new band had to put any profits they made into making a follow up album, when they split from their record label.
"All the money that we made last year from playing festivals went into the album and not into our pockets," Simpson tells the Daily Star.
"We spent £100,000 on the first record but this time we made it cut-price at £25,000 as we had a friend producing it."
And when Fightstar's latest release 'Be Human' hit the top 20, Charlie was confident that they had done the right thing.
"It was a bit of a gamble but it's paid off now," he added. Fingers crossed!
