Ex-Queens Of The Stone Age Star Records Solo Album

Former Queens of The Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri has recorded his debut solo album.
Titled 'Death Acoustic', the record is on course for a October 27 release. In a statement, his label says that Oliveri "has found time to play intimate, solo acoustic shows," since his departure from the rockers.
The press release further explains: "Death Acoustic is the result of these efforts; Oliveri spent the last 12 months in his home studio recording tracks for his solo album."
"In October, it is unleashed with touring to back it up across the world over the last few months of this year and into next year."
