Elton John Cancels Three U.S. Concerts

Sir Elton John has checked into hospital after being diagnosed with a severe bout of E. Coli, and has been forced to cancel three concerts in the U.S.
The Rocket Man has already postponed several UK shows last week due to illness, which was thought to be influenza, but now John is being given medical treatment in London.
Three concerts this month on Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon, will now not go ahead.
A statement on behalf of the singer, reads:"Promoter Live Nation, The KeyArena and The Rose Garden were informed by management that Elton has been advised by his doctor to postpone these performances due to a serious case of E. Coli bacterial infection and influenza."
