Elbow are still looking at the bigger picture - they want to achieve the same level of success as stadium rockers U2.
Despite being a successful band in their own right, and even winning the Mercury Music Prize last year for 'The Seldom Seen Kid', the band still strive to be even bigger.
Elbow have been opening for U2 on their current tour, of which frontman Guy Garvey says: "It's a great honour to support them because they're the biggest band in the world at the minute and have been for 20 years.
"I keep thinking, 'Right, what do you do next... apart from that kind of thing yourself?'" Garvey added to the BBC.
Guy also revealed Elbow have "got 30 or 40" new tracks they're working on for their next album (out in 2010).
"I've got a couple of books worth of scribbles, so we're just going to keep doing that for maybe six months." He added.
