Elbow In "No Rush" To Record Their Next Album

Elbow won't be bringing out their next album anytime soon, as the band don't want to rush-release the follow-on LP from their last record, 'The Seldom Seen Kid'.

"We're not that busy. We don't work hard - we think we work hard by doing a four hour day," Bassist Pete Turner tells the BBC.

Turner also revealed that winning the Mercury Music Prize for 'The Seldom Seen Kid' has put some pressure on Elbow to record an album of equal strength.

"I think we're up there for a little bit of a taking down almost - for us it means we'll work a little bit harder," adds Pete, before explaining that Elbow have already started planning their next full-length effort.

"It's nice to start out with a plan - we're planning out the album before we've written it really. Trying to give it a name and ideas towards the songs."
