Elbow have announced details of a large homecoming event, taking place in Manchester later this year.
The band will play the city's MEN Arena on September 18 as their final 2009 live performance, with tickets available here.
Frontman Guy Garvey says of the gig: "It's been a brilliant couple of years if, at times, a bit frantic and occasionally bizarre. To finish with a home town show is the perfect end to a perfect year."
After this gig - which is their largest headline show yet - Elbow will take time out to concentrate on their next album.
Earlier this year the band said they are taking their time to record the follow-up to their Mercury Music Prize-winning album 'The Seldom Seen Kid'.
