Earth Kitt Dies Of Cancer

Eartha Kitt sadly passed away yesterday (December 25, 2008), after she died of colon cancer.
The singer and actress was aged 81 and died in New York, where she was being treated at the Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
Kitt was the singer of the 1953 Christmas hit single 'Santa Baby' and also played the role of Catwoman in the Batman TV series during the 1960s.
