Dr. Dre's Detox To Be Here By November?

The long wait for what is probably the most highly-anticipated hip hop album in years is almost over; Dr. Dre has said Detox is nearly ready and could be released by the end of the year.
It's been 9 years since he released his '2001' album and he's spent 4 years making this one but, despite repeated delays, Dre now says it should be out soon.
Speaking about his work on the album, Dre said: "I'm just now - over the last couple of months - starting to feel that it's going to be right and it's something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it. In a perfect world, I'm shooting for a November or December release."
Detox will obviously be featuring some high profile guests, and so far Jay-Z, Nas and Lil Wayne have been confirmed.
The beats will apparently be heavily driven by live drums, about which Dr. Dre says, "We have an entirely new thing going with the drums that's incredible, and we're still developing that." Like with the G Funk sound of 'The Chronic', could Dre be about to unveil another unique style that completely changes the direction of hip hop?
After the album is released, Dre is planning to tour and then "become a hermit" by staying in the studio and producing. He's also planning to discover the next big rapper as he previously did with Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent; "All I want to do is sit in the studio with that person for a year and try to create another masterpiece."
Detox will be released on Dre's own Aftermath/Interscope Records label and we'll bring you a final release date as soon as it's announced.
