DMX Performance Starts Mini Riot

A mini riot occurred on Saturday night following an appearance by DMX at a concert intended to welcome kids back to school.
While performing at the Back To School Jam at The Nassau Coliseum Yonkers, the rapper's microphone started having problems, before being cut off.
Angered at being silenced, DMX shouted, "Fuck outta here with that, turn my shit on."
He then started rapping again, but had his microphone cut off part way through a song for a second time. Furious, the rapper jumped into the pit where the soundman was.
Moments later he appeared back on stage, where he posed with his entourage before leaving.
Disappointed concert goers began throwing water bottles and food at some of DMX's entourage, who then threw items back at the crowd.
A mini riot broke out, and one of DMX's crew jumped off stage into the crowd. A fist fight also took place in a booth.
Police officers were called to the scene, and after securing the aisles the concert was stopped.
According to a statement issued by the police shortly afterwards, an unidentified 29-year-old woman had to be taken to hospital with a laceration to her head, after she was struck in the head with a metal folding chair.
